I already know a good amount of XHTML, HTML, and CSS, but little no none of PHP and No MySQL. So… Is there a book out there that does a good job explaining these PHP and MySQL to beginners?

I want the comments in my joomla page to be displayed automatically, without having to click on the "comments" link to display them.

I need to create a photo gallery website which should be able to interact with facebook and other social networking sites. Is it possible to create such a site using drupal? If yes, do i need to learn any programming to create the site?

I have an old website with Joomla on it. Now I found plenty of overviews on how to convert Joomla to Wordpress.

That’s not what I want to do, though. I want to scratch everything on the Joomla site and start new with Wordpress.

Could someone point me in the right direction?

Hi guys I was just wondering how do I go about making a simple php bookmark or favourites page. I’m fairly new at PHP so I haven’t the slightest clue. Would be much appreciated if someone could link me to a site or a few tips.

Is there a free extension for Joomla that allows me to make a page so I can upload files and they come up on the pages like folders with all the files in the uploaded files folder?

I am wanting to make my own part of my website where I can upload and access my files anywhere with Internet.

I have a personal site, which I have managed and build/maintained using Joomla, but after buying a Mac, I like the customised appearance you can achieve with iWeb. Is there any way I can still use Joomla, but somehow export my current custom iWeb template? Thanks.
